foot is a serial publication created to introduce the work of visual artists who develop their practices through ongoing bodies of work, using print as its medium. Moving at a slightly different pace from the rapidly consumed currents of contemporary culture, it aims to share “personal documentaries” shaped by subjective and reflective perspectives.
The first issue, foot 1, features independent artistic content across a range of genres, including photography, drawing, children’s stories, poetry, work notes, and interviews. It was designed and edited by Hyojun Lee.
Future issues may include new formats and genres depending on the direction of the participating artists. foot will continue to be published as an ongoing series, with all texts presented in Korean, English, and Japanese.
